WISDOM OF HORSES
Kathleen McGarry began a career as a hair/make-up artist, living in New York, Paris, LA, Milan, Lisbon, Dublin and eventually settling in London where she was a personal stylist and portrait photographer for the film legend, Emma Thompson. Studies of Shamanism, Dowsing, Reiki, Flower Essences and Feng Shui opened the door to understand the healing elements of nature that offered guidance during the 12 years she traveled the world promoting Emma’s films, humanitarian efforts, and red-carpet moments. She worked alongside Emma and the Helen Bamber Foundation to bring awareness and support for individuals who suffered extreme human rights violations, trafficking and torture. After collaborating on an art installation in Trafalgar Square, known as JOURNEY, on behalf of trafficked women and the Foundation, the wisdom and power of horses came into view.
